LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, Oct. 22, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – On the red carpet for “Halloween Kills”, Jamie Lee Curtis is absolutely killer with his recreation of his mother’s look for “Psycho,” the classic d ‘Alfred Hitchcock where she plays the character of Marion Crane. Recreating this look was actually an absolute mind flip when Sean James was initially given the incredible task of recreating Jamie’s look. She was given pictures of Scarlett Johansson playing the character of Marion Crane as Janet Leigh.
So how did Sean create Jamie Lee Curtis character as smoothly as Marion Crane / Scarlett Johansson / Marian Crane? Her first task was to find a golden blonde colored wig, which was not an easy task due to the pandemic and the shortage of wigs, there weren’t many options available. Sean called Randy Sayer, who is one of the bosses at local 706, to find the real wig that was made for Scarlett Johansson, but couldn’t locate it. A lot of research was done, so the next task was to first find a wig that looked like the color, but Sean didn’t care about the haircut because he knew he could cut it into the shape of the hairstyle of the bubble wig of the time. from the 50s where even Barbie had this hairstyle as one of her wig options. Sean was heavily influenced by Janet Leigh’s look at the time; her makeup was done by talented Vogue editorial makeup artist Grace Ahn, and her style and dress was tailor-made for her by the costume department at Universal Studios. What an incredible job they have done.
So where did Sean finally find the wig? The week was found at an amazing Crenshaw District wig store where they had an amazing selection, but not a lot of blonde wigs. Finally, Sean saw a curly wig that really stood out as the right color, or as close as he could find it, and decided to take it, stretch it at home, adjust it and use his 1 1/4 inch FHI Heat curling iron with its high altitude stylus Hair Care spray and its “stylus Hair Care” stay put spray.
“Unbrush” was designed to be all black for Jamie lee Curtis by Sean James for FHIheat and it was used in the style of the wig. They are available at fhiheat.com/specialdeal.
Then Sean got into the wig and did a basic brick wind and put on the wig. He bet he combed it a bit and put it on the wing block and brought it to Jamie. Sean brushed the wig over Jamie’s head and did the finishing touches, cutting wisely taking some of the white and just creating the look. Of course, it turned out so spectacular, there was such an overwhelming response to the look Jamie said was brilliantly designed. “What an honor to have worked for the press with Jamie around the world, including going to the Venice Film Festival for the global opening of ‘Halloween Kills’ and being mentioned in Jamie’s acceptance speech. for his Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement Award, “says Jacques. “I am so grateful and excited for the incredible work we need to do this Halloween and I can’t wait to be in 2022 and all of the amazing things we have planned for the future.”
