Gunmen wearing ‘Scream’ masks rob Seattle barbershop

Terrifying video shows three gunmen wearing “Scream” masks robbing a Rainier Valley hair salon.

The theft took place around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the 6700 Block Lounge at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South.

FOX 13 News spoke to the salon owner who said the incident went from scary to horrific when she realized they were entering her living room.

“He said, ‘Where did you put the money? And then he pulled out a gun again and I said, “Okay calm down. I’ll get the money for you,” “said owner Jenny Nguyen.

The incident was also caught on surveillance cameras.

Nguyen told FOX 13 News that the men asked him to get all of the employee’s handbags because they also stole their customers.

“I still tremble when I think about it,” Nguyen.

The suspects fled in a silver pickup truck with New Mexico license plates, police said.

Renton detectives are also investigating a takeover robbery at an Asian company they believe may be related. The suspect entered a spa in Renton and asked customers and employees to hand over money and personal effects.

Shortly after the theft, detectives say a beige vehicle with a temporary tag drove the suspects to the Rainier Safeway where they used stolen credit cards to refuel several vehicles. Investigators have released surveillance footage of suspects receiving gasoline.

Anyone with information about the theft is urged to contact Seattle Police. You may also be eligible for a reward of up to $ 1,000 through Crime Stoppers. You can also call a tip anonymously using the P3 Tips app or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
